There’s a new topic on the ‘Tell me a story’ page about Gary O’Toole, former drummer of the Seve Hackett band. Gary’s worked with Steve for many years and he’s used his talents on and off stage, performing live and working with Steve in the studio. Gary can be heard on Steve’s albums ‘To Watch The Storms’, ‘Wild Orchids’ and ‘Genesis Revisited II’ to name a few, but he has also played on many Steve Hackett live albums. In 2018 he decided, because of personal reasons, that the ship had to sail without him. Most importantly, Gary’s been a familyman and a dad to his kids since then. Professionally and musically, he started an online drum school and he has been working on his own material. Gary has an open character and he’s given an insight in his childhood, how he became a professional musician and he talked about what his plans are for the future. The first part of the interview has now been published and its appropiate title is ‘Gary O’Toole: Revisited 1’. The second part will be available soon.
