Welcome to this website, a collection of newspaper and magazine clippings related to Genesis. Many of the articles are written in English and Dutch, although other languages are represented as well. Most of the material you will find here consists of scans from original printed publications, while some items were kindly provided to me in digital format. In addition to the clippings, you’ll discover many other Genesis-related items under the ‘Memorabilia’ section. If you take the time to explore a little further, you may come across some fascinating stories in the Tell Me A Story and Scrap Of The Month sections. If you would like to leave a comment, share your thoughts, or contribute new material, please feel free to send an email to info@genesis-scrapbook.com.

Genesis are a group who have not consciously striven in some pretentious way to raise rock music to an art form, but their combined skills and intelligence have been reflected in their music, resulting in a valuable artistic contribution of lasting, importance. They can count among their fans Japanese, Brazilians, Italians, French, Germans, Dutch, Americans and British, and their music has spread by records, tapes and concerts, throughout the world. This is an extraordinary achievement by a band which began in haphazard fashion as an after-school activity, and became one of the most sought after progressive rock attractions. © Chris Welch, 1978
