Supplements

Posted on 30/04/202505/05/2025

It’s been a while since the last blog post. There’s not much to report sometimes. I was occupied re-organizing my collection when I discovered a few supplement folders and catalogue booklets in which Genesis is mentioned. Firstly, there are the Charisma catalogues from 1972, 1977 and 1979. The fold-outs from 1972 and 1979 are especially fun. Secondly, I found a Phonogram catalogue booklet from 1976. Genesis is mentioned on the inside, as well as Steve Hackett’s first solo album, ‘Voyage Of The Acolyte’.

Apart from these overviews I also have an information guide to Laserium, the company that provided many rock bands with laser effects in the 1970s, including Genesis. Last but not least there are two Photographic Supplements to Q Magazine included in the gallery in which (familiar) photos of Genesis from the 70s can be found. I suppose some of these items are rare, but I’m pretty sure that many of these kind of supplements are out there.
