In the past few weeks genesis-scrapbook’s been updated with some great new additions. Amongst those are lots of cuttings from Peter Gabriel. Check out the PG sections on this website that cover the years from 1975 up until 1989. You may find articles from Sounds, National RockStar (a UK based magazine, only published in 1976/’77) and the New Musical Express. In the PG 1990’s section there are several Australian cuttings like an ad for the Secret World Tour concert at Flinders Park in Melbourne on February 24th 1994. I also added some new Genesis finds from Melody Maker and Sounds in the 1970-’75 section. These things are harder to find so it’s always a joyous event when a new envelope with oldies enters my mailbox. I’m always looking for stuff from Mike & the Mechanics too, but I rarely find anything. Just recently I got my hands on an article from Aloha published in 2004. Another Mechanics article about The Road will be added soon. Here’s an impression of some of the new finds. There’s more to come in the next few weeks.
