“No news is good news…” These days I’d wish there’d be some actual news on Genesis but after ‘The Last Domino?’ that’s just wishful thinking. That’s probably why I like stirring up old news from magazines and newspapers. I recently found a large amount of old newspaper articles online, dating back to 1973. Genesis was getting their feet on the ground with ‘Selling England By The Pound’ and all of Genesis’s history was still yet to come. Amongst these clippings obviously there’s stuff on Collins’s marriages, if you’re interested. But when you dig a little further you’ll find writings on Genesis’s gig in Amsterdam in 1975 or on Ray Wilson joining Genesis in 1997. I guess collecting Genesis means there always is a ‘We Want More!’
